  • The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay - Michael Chabon
  • Stardust - Neil Gaiman
  • True History of the Kelly Gang: A Novel - Peter Carey
  • Discourse on Method and Meditations on First Philosophy - Rene Descartes
  • The Cinema of George Lucas
  • Everything Is Illuminated - Jonathan Safran Foer
  • Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid - Douglas Hoefstaeder

After Microserfs you should read JPod, also by Douglas Coupland. It's like an updated version, this time for the Google-style tech culture instead of the old-skool Microsoft tech-culture. Equally awesome.
