Last night I went to Kung Fu Panda and it was pretty darn good!! I was quite impressed. Probably as good as the first Shrek movie, and one of the best from the Dreamworks slate so far.
Great sets, and the fight scenes were exciting and hilarious at the same time. Voice acting was hilarious, and just totally enjoyable movie. A bit of "The Jazz Singer" style storyline at the beginning wasn't the greatest, but it lead into a genuine "fury of awesome" for the majority of the movie. Super funny, and a great time!!
David Cross as the crane was freakin' hilarious. It would have been nicer if the mantis (played by Seth Rogen) had some more lines, but the few he had were pretty funny too.
All in all, a good, enjoyable movie.
